The Harvest

We produce a highest quality Cretan Extra virgin olive oil

The harvest time has always been an annual festival for us. Our friends and relatives come at the end of autumn to take part in the olive oil production. The process has been the same for centuries. Olives are harvested manually from olive trees. After harvest, the olives must be pressed within 24 to 48 hours. This ensures a mild taste and low acidity. The oil stays in special containers for a few weeks. Afterwards, it is barreled in bottles or stainless-steel tins and is available fresh and perfectly healthy for consumption.
