The idea also was born during the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). The idea of adopting a tree is symbolic. Farming is a new, sustainable and transparent way to get the best food directly from the producer. The time has come to produce your own extra virgin olive oil from your own olive tree in Crete. By adopting an olive tree, you become part of the history and you support local agriculture and our family’s long tradition in olive oil production.
And above all, the project wants to give you the opportunity to visit “your own olive tree” in this green area near the sea. A pleasant and relaxing place where you can spend time forgetting about clocks, appointments and daily life stress. You can visit this place either in your summer vacation or during the harvest season. Here you can view all processing steps up to the end product. Your annual olive oil will be produced with love, responsibility and your precious participation. The olive harvest time is from mid-November to the end of January. The name of the olive oil thus consists of the words earth (Gaia) of the village of Mochos in Crete, an area full of history and one of the richest traditions and cultures of olive oil in the world.

ADOPTION PACKAGE for 1 year for 99 € (plus shipping)
The package contains:
• A Personalized adoption certificate, delivery of the first 3 liters of fine extra virgin olive oil, two weeks after adoption.
• In March/April, we will send you 3 more liters of the fine extra virgin olive oil.
• At certain intervals we will inform you by email about the current status of your olive tree.
• You can visit your adopted olive tree at any time during your vacation in Crete during the summer or in December to harvest the olives and produce the olive oil together.
